COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Prairie View A&M women's track and field standout senior
Ja'Sha Sloan punched her ticket to compete in the high jump at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships with a jump of 1.82 meters tying her career best during the NCAA West Regional Championship.
Sloan, a senior from Mesquite, Texas, is the 2021 SWAC outdoor gold medalist in the high jump with a record breaking jump of 1.82 meters (5'11.5"). This is the third time that a women's track athlete has competed in a NCAA National Championship since Prairie View A&M has been associated with the NCAA Division I program.
She is set to compete Saturday June 12, 2021 at 2:30pm CT
Sophomore
Mia Heard concluded her season in the long jump placing 43rd out of 45th with a jump of 5.61 meters (18-5). Freshman Nathan Crawford-Wallis finished 36th out of 46th in the triple jump with a jump of 15.07 meters (49-5.5). Senior
Kaizha Roberts concluded her season in the triple jump placing 24th out of 48 with a personal best jump of 12.70 meters (41-8)
