BOX SCORE PRAIRIE VIEW - Two Prairie View A&M soccer players were selected as Players of the Week by the Southwestern Athletic Conference for their performance played against Northwestern State last Friday, August 27.

Andrea Nugent is this week's offensive and defensive player of the week. The red-shirt junior assisted Prairie View A&M to limiting Northwestern State to five shots and no goals as well as scoring the game winning goal in the 78th minute. 

Sierra Cota-Yarde took home the SWAC goalkeeper of the week in her first career start for the Lady Panthers. The freshman goalkeeper recorded three saves in her first shutout helping her take a 1-0 victory

Prairie View A&M Soccer will return to action against Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi for a non-conference showdown in Prairie View at 7 p.m. Friday night, September 3rd.  The game can be watched at pvpanthers.com or fans can follow the game via live stats also at pvpanthers.com.
