RUSTON, LA. - The Prairie View A&M women's basketball team finished the non-conference portion of their schedule with a 3-8 record, the Panthers will begin its Southwestern Athletic schedule on Monday, January 3 as they open at Grambling State for a 5:30 p.m. tip off.
The Panthers will return to play after defeating the Lady Bulldogs of Jarvis Christian 80-56. Prior to the game on December 30th, PVAMU had not played since December 19
th.
Grambling State own a 3-8 record also. In their last contest the Lady Tigers breezed by the New Orleans Privateers 61-49 at Kiefer Lakefront Arena in New Orleans on December 29.
The Lady Tigers own a 63-28 all-time record against the Panthers, which includes the one game played last season. Grambling won a 65-64 decision at Prairie View, PVAMU did not have an opportunity to return the home-and-home contest due to COVID-19 protocols.
