Soccer Returns to Action After Two Week Hiatus

BOX SCORE PRAIRIE VIEW – The Prairie View A&M soccer team will just play its third game of the season at Abilene Christian on Friday, prior to returning to the PVAMU Soccer Complex to host the University of Louisiana-Monroe on Thursday, Sept. 15 in their final non-conference match up.  

The Lady Panthers has not played a game since Aug 28, dropping an 8-1 decision to the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders.

"We had two weeks to recover and train," said head PVAMU soccer coach Christiane Lessa.  "We hope to be able to compete and continue to work on our game."

The Abilene Christian Wildcats enters Friday's contest 2-2-1 on the season.  In their last contest they tied 1-1 to the Rajan Cajuns of Louisiana after lightening ends the match.

The game can be watched on wacsports.com or fans can follow via live stats.
