CLEARWATER, Fla. --The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers were not able to score a run against Pittsburgh pitcher senior Abby Edwards on Friday and were shut out 5-0 by the Panthers.
Junior Breanna Reyna (0-1) got the ball to start for Prairie View A&M (0-2) and took the loss.
Junior Biviana Figueroa led the way offensively for the Lady Panthers, going 2-for-3 in the ballgame.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Prairie View A&M did not advance a runner past second base in the game. The Lady Panthers went 0-for-1 with runners in scoring position, last placing a runner as far as second in the fourth when Figueroa made it into scoring position with two outs.
