PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The Prairie View A&M men's basketball team has been seeded sixth in the 2023 Cricket SWAC Tournament presented by Starry after the conclusion of 2022-23 regular season play in their quest for a bid to the NCAA.

The Panther's seeding was determined after defeating Texas Southern Saturday evening with a 78-74 victory giving PVAMU a 9-9 conference record and a 13-18 overall finish.

The Panthers will open play on March 9 versus Jackson State for a 2 p.m. tip-off inside of the Bartow Arena in Birmingham, Ala. The remainder of the schedule can be found on swac.org.
