FINAL RESULTS

FLOWOOD, Miss.- Prairie View A&M University's head Men's and Women's Golf Coach Mesha Levister was named the Women's SWAC Coach of the Year in her first season.  The lady's golf team finished second in the 2023 SWAC Championship Tournament at the Refuge Golf Course on Wednesday.

Levister's team was led by Bedford, Texas native Olivia Billips, who shot a 73 on the final day placing her in fourth place after a three-round total of 237 (84+80+73), which was the lowest of any Lady Panther golfer.  The senior was named to the SWAC All-tournament First team. 

Senior Taylor Harvey finished just two strokes behind Billips with a 239 (79+82+78), to finish tied for fifth and also a place on the SWAC All-Tournament first team.  Newcomer Kacey Menyoli finished one stroke behind Harvey for a tie for 7^th place in the tournament with an 82+80+78=240.  In her first season as a Lady Panther Menyoli was named to the SWAC All-Tournament Second team.

Senior Iman Abraham ended her SWAC season with a 9th-place finish and scores of 82+81+78=241.  She was named to the SWAC All-Tournament Second team.  Shani Waite finished with a 14^th-place finish to round out the Lady Panther's scoring (86+80+83=249).

The Lady Panthers will conclude their 2023 season when they participate at the National Women's Collegiate Golf Championship on April, 25-26 in Stockbridge, Ga., and the PGA Works Championship on May 8-10 in Birmingham, Ala.
