ATLANTA, Ga. --Sophomore Dallas Tease and senior Zach Morea combined to toss a shutout on Friday as the Florida A&M Rattlers blanked the Prairie View A&M Panthers 1-0.
Sophomore Matthew Krall (4-5) started and took the loss on the mound for Prairie View A&M (20-37). The right-hander went eight innings, giving up one run on nine hits, allowing three walks, and striking out seven.
Freshman Michael Burroughs led the way offensively for the Panthers, going 1-for-2 in the ballgame with two walks.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Prairie View A&M managed zero chances with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position. The Panthers last got a runner on third in the sixth, when Burroughs made it 90 feet away from scoring with two outs.
