HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- Prairie View fell 4-2 on the road against Sam Houston Friday (Aug. 18) at Pritchett Field.

How it Happened
Prairie View grabbed a 1-0 lead when Nalonie Allgeier scored her first goal of the season in the fourth minute, assisted by Kamara Bradley.
The Lady Panthers tacked on another score on a goal from Bradley -- her first goal of the season -- in the 40th minute.
Sam Houston narrowed the gap to 2-1 on Kennedy Baquero's 63rd-minute goal.
The Bearkats fired back to knot it up at 2-2 with a 71st-minute goal from Solae Young.
Sam Houston broke the tie and took a 3-2 lead on Ariana Carrington's goal in the 73rd minute, assisted by Landri Townsend.
thanks to an 83rd-minute goal from Baquero, assisted by Pam Murray. The 4-2 held to the finish.
