STEPHENVILLE, TX --The Prairie View A&M volleyball team fell to the Incarnate Word Cardinals in three sets (22-25, 21-25, 21-25) Friday at Wisdom Volleyball Gym.
The non-conference loss dropped Prairie View A&M to 1-1 on the season.
Nyah Walker finished with seven kills on the day to lead the Lady Panthers offense. got 9 digs from Kylee Owens to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | In spite of an impressive serving effort, the Lady Panthers dropped the first set 25-22. Prairie View A&M notched six aces in the set loss.
SET 2 | Prairie View A&M then dropped the second set 25-21 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. Incarnate Word grabbed the advantage for good at 18-17 in a set that was tied up 10 times before the Cardinals took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 3 | Incarnate Word finished off the sweep with a third-set victory. The Lady Panthers couldn't hang on in a back-and-forth battle, losing 25-21 in a set that featured seven lead changes and was tied 13 times. Neither team had a lead of more than four points along the way.
