11/22/2024 8:33:00 AM

The men's basketball team are set to take on the Northern Colorado Bears on November 23, 2024, in Greeley, Colorado. This road event poses a challenging encounter for the Panthers, who are currently holding a 1-4 season record against the Bears' 2-2.

The last time Prairie View A&M met Northern Colorado was back in 2013, where they faced a loss with a score of 70-87. As they prepare for this upcoming contest, the Panthers are looking to turn the tables and secure a win. Under the guidance of Head Coach Byron Smith, the team is focusing on leveraging their key players. Nick Anderson, with an impressive tally of 87 points, 29 rebounds, and 7 steals, is expected to lead the charge. Supporting him will be Marcel Bryant, known for his defensive skills with 4 blocks, and Jr. Horton, who has contributed significantly with 17 assists so far this season.

The game will kick off at 7 PM at the opponent's venue, marking an important clash in the season's schedule. The Panthers aim to leverage this match to improve their standings and showcase their preparedness for the rest of the season.

The game will be online for Panther fans to follow while at home: Keep up with all the latest news and information for PVAMU athletics by following pvpanthers.com as well as through Twitter via the PVAMU general sports account (@PVAMUPanthers).
