SAN ANTONIO, TX --The Prairie View A&M Panthers were not able to notch a run against Buffalo on Friday and fell 3-0 by the Bulls.
Senior Breanna Reyna (0-1) got the ball to start for Prairie View A&M (0-2) and took the loss. The right-hander went six innings, giving up three runs, two earned, on five hits, allowing one walk and striking out three.
Senior Destinee Smith led the way offensively for the Panthers, going 1-for-3 in the ballgame with a double.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Prairie View A&M did not advance a runner past second base in the game. The Panthers went 0-for-3 with runners in scoring position, last placing a runner as far as second in the seventh, when freshman Aryana Cruz made it into scoring position with two outs.
