PINE BLUFF, Arkansas --Senior Breanna Reyna was dealing on Monday, hurling a five-hit shutout to lead the Prairie View A&M Panthers over the UAPB Lady Lions 4-0.
Reyna (4-4) went the distance for Prairie View A&M (6-11, 2-0), giving up five hits, walking one and striking out two.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers took the lead for good in the third, scoring for the first time in the inning. Prairie View A&M pushed across two runs in the frame, the big blow coming on an RBI double from senior Biviana Figueroa.
The Panthers then tacked on runs in the sixth inning when they scored two times. Those two runs came across on senior Jaylyn Davis' two-run homer to center.
