PINE BLUFF, AR --The Prairie View A&M volleyball team secured a 3-0 sweep (25-9, 25-7, 25-15) against the UAPB Lady Lions Sunday on the road at HO Clemmons Arena to close out the regular season.
The victory boosted the Lady Panthers' record to 18-11 overall and 15-1 in SWAC action.
D'Mya Hill finished with nine kills on the day to lead the Lady Panthers attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .615.Leila Smalls also pitched in with five in the contest. Defensively, had two players reach double figures in digs as Smalls had 17 and Kylee Owens had 10.

SET 1 | The Lady Panthers grabbed control of the set-one lead at 2-1 and held the lead the rest of the way to win 25-9. Prairie View A&M opened up its biggest lead, 16 points, to finish off the set, collecting 17 kills in the set. Prairie View A&M also supplemented their offense with four aces in the opening set.
SET 2 | Prairie View A&M continued to roll after a set-one win by securing a 25-7 victory in set two. The Lady Panthers scored first and never trailed in the set to secure the victory. Prairie View A&M opened up as much as a 19 point lead at 23-4 before finishing off the set, collecting 15 kills while only committing one attack error in the set. The Lady Panthers hit .438 over the course of the set.
SET 3 | Prairie View A&M took set three to finish off the match. The Lady Panthers grabbed control of the set early when the score was 5-4 and never trailed to win 25-15. Prairie View A&M led by as many as 10 points at 23-13 before finishing off the stanza. The Prairie View A&M offense also got a boost from five aces in the stanza.
