PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas — Prairie View A&M University student-athletes continues to demonstrate excellence in the classroom, as athletic teams posted solid grade point averages during the most recent academic term. Collectively, Prairie View A&M Athletics recorded a 3.133 term GPA and a 3.201 cumulative GPA, underscoring the department's ongoing commitment to academic achievement.
Several programs achieved GPAs well above the 3.0 mark, highlighted by women's golf, which led all teams with a 3.5 term GPA and a 3.6 cumulative GPA. Women's bowling and women's softball also turned in impressive performances, each posting a 3.3 term GPA, with bowling earning a 3.4 cumulative GPA.
On the men's side, men's baseball and men's tennis led the way with 3.2 term GPAs, while men's tennis posted a strong 3.4 cumulative GPA. Men's track (3.1 term/3.1 cumulative) and men's football (3.0 term/3.0 cumulative) continued to maintain solid academic standards across large and diverse rosters.
