Despite their earnest attempt, the Panthers suffered defeats in both singles and doubles matches.
In the singles competition, while Prairie View A&M did not claim any victories against their opponents,
Abdulraheem Isa and
Xavier Peter-Gooding demonstrated commendable resilience. Both tied their sets against Alabama State's tough competitors, Alexandre Verlaguet and Matis Amier, showcasing their potential despite the unfavorable outcomes. In doubles, Isa and Peter-Gooding extended their match to an intense third-set tiebreaker, hinting at promising chemistry and skill that fell just short against the strong pairing of Verlaguet and Amier.
