OAK HICKORY, Tenn. - On April 7, 2025, the Prairie View A&M Panthers men's golf team showcased a commendable performance at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate held at Hermitage GCS in Old Hickory, Tennessee. Competing against regional rivals including Tennessee State Tigers, the Panthers secured the eighth position amidst a challenging field.
The team closed the event with a final score of +27. Leading the Prairie View A&M team were standout golfers
Jacob Holloway,
Gage Gallo,
Jaden Thompson,
Kenneth Melendrez, and
Joah Bramwell, all contributing significantly to the team's overall score.
Jacob Holloway was particularly impressive, finishing with a score of +2 and managing to strike an exceptional balance between challenging holes and birdie opportunities.
Additionally,
Kolawole Abudu and
Ethan Aleman received special recognition for their performance, demonstrating Prairie View A&M's depth in talent and promise for future competitions. The team's effort places them in a good position as they look ahead to their next big challenge, the SWAC Championship scheduled for April 15 17, 2025, in Birmingham, Ala.
