PRAIRIE VIEW, TX - Prairie View A&M University student-athletes continue to demonstrate their commitment to excellence both on and off the field, as reflected in the Spring 2025 academic performance report. The Department of Athletics proudly announces a
cumulative department-wide GPA of 3.228, highlighting the dedication of our scholar-athletes to their academic success.
Leading the academic charge this semester was the Men's Tennis Team, posting an impressive 3.608 GPA, followed closely by the Women's Golf Team with a 3.68 GPA. Other standout academic performers include:
On the men's side, Men's Cross Country and Men's Baseball earned strong marks with 3.189 and 3.122 GPA's respectively, while the Football Team proudly maintained above a 3.0 GPA at 3.019.
Even in the face of demanding athletic schedules, travel, and training, Panther student-athletes have remained focused and determined in the classroom. Their efforts are a testament to the culture of academic accountability and the support systems in place, from coaches and academic advisors to the university faculty.
