BOZEMAN, MT --The Prairie View A&M volleyball team lost Saturday as the Oregon Ducks posted a four set (14-25, 18-25, 25-20, 16-25) win at the Shroyer Gym.
The non-conference loss dropped Prairie View A&M to 0-2 on the season.
The Lady Panthers offense was paced by Kylee Owens, who finished with 14 kills on the day, and by D'Mya Hill, who had 11 while hitting .25. got nine digs from Leila Smalls to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Lady Panthers found themselves in an early hole, losing a tough first set 25-14. Prairie View A&M trailed by as many as 11 points as Oregon grabbed the advantage for good at 3-2 in a set that was tied up just once before the Ducks took control.
SET 2 | A 25-18 second-set loss put Prairie View A&M in a 2-0 deficit in the match. The Lady Panthers lost the first point and never clawed back into the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Prairie View A&M stayed alive with a victory in the third set to make it a 2-1 match. The Lady Panthers took control of the set early when the score was 4-3 and never trailed to win 25-20. Prairie View A&M ended on a strong note, opening up its biggest lead of the stanza, five points, to close out the set.
SET 4 | Prairie View A&M couldn't keep the momentum and fell in set four 25-16 to drop the match. The Lady Panthers fell behind on the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before losing the set.
