The Prairie View A&M Panthers men's cross country team showcased strong performances in their home meet, the Clifton Gilliard XC Invite, held on September 25, 2025, at the Gov Bill and Vara Daniel Ranch and Farm, on the campus of PVAMU in Prairie View, Texas. The Panthers finished 3rd overall, amassing 70 points in a competitive field.

Among the standout performers for the Panthers were Thierry Garcon, who led the team with a 6th place finish, clocking a time of 26:16.92. Noah Green also made a significant contribution by finishing 14th with a time of 27:00.03. Other key team members included Cristian Rios, Kejun Wilson, and Elie Smith, who finished 17th, 18th, and 19th respectively, showing the depth and consistency of the Panthers' squad.

The event welcomed several other schools, with St. Thomas (Texas) securing the top spot followed by Sam Houston. Teams from Victoria College, North American University, and Huston-Tillotson also competed in this event. The full meet results have been made available online.

Looking forward, the Prairie View A&M Panthers will travel to Fayetteville, Arkansas, to compete in the Chile Pepper XC Festival on October 4, 2025. This upcoming event will provide another opportunity for the team to demonstrate their skills and endurance in a highly anticipated gathering of collegiate athletes.
