PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The Prairie View A&M men's basketball team continues SWAC play Monday evening, at home hosting Arkansas-Pine Bluff inside the William J. Nicks Building (Baby Dome) for purple out Night.  Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.  

Prairie View A&M enters the matchup coming off a strong all-around performance that showcased unselfish offense and active defense. The Panthers shared the ball efficiently in their last game, recording assists on 81 percent of their made baskets, underscoring the team's emphasis on ball movement and execution.

On the defensive end, Prairie View A&M applied consistent pressure throughout the contest, forcing 18 turnovers and protecting the rim. The Panthers affected shots at a high rate, tallying eight blocked shots as a team to limit scoring opportunities.

Tai'Reon Joseph led the Panthers offensively with a game-high 23 points, while Cory Wells anchored the effort on the boards, pulling down a team-high eight rebounds.

With conference play underway, Prairie View A&M will look to defend its home floor and build momentum as it welcomes Arkansas-Pine Bluff to the Baby Dome.
