DAYTONA BEACH, FL --The Prairie View A&M Panthers struggled on Friday, falling to the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats by final score of 6-1.
Beau Beaty (1-4) got the ball to start for Prairie View A&M (4-12, 0-1) and took the loss.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 5-0, the Panthers first put runs on the board in the eighth inning. Prairie View A&M got an RBI single from Ryland Duson, scoring Corie Lockette from second base. The Panthers were unable to get any closer, as Bethune-Cookman added one run to their tally on the way to a 6-1 final.
