GRAMBLING, Louisiana --Tyvon Moore racked up three hits, but the Prairie View A&M Panthers fell to the Grambling Tigers 12-2 Friday.

Beau Beaty (2-8) got the ball to start for Prairie View A&M (7-29, 3-13) and took the loss.

In addition to his three hits, Moore had a double to lead the Panthers. Sonnier Moses compiled a noteworthy performance at the dish as well, going 2-for-3 with a double. Ryland Duson also contributed for Prairie View A&M, putting together one hit in three trips to the plate while adding an RBI.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Panthers got on the board immediately, starting their scoring with one run in the top of the first inning. Ethan Walker came across to score the lone run of the inning for Prairie View A&M and get them on the board.

The Tigers then rallied to score three runs and take a 3-1 lead before the Panthers got back on the board in the fourth. Moses came across to score the lone run of the inning for Prairie View A&M, which brought the score to 3-2 in favor of the Tigers. The Panthers were unable to get any closer, as Grambling added nine runs to their tally on the way to a 12-2 final.
