PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas --The Prairie View A&M Panthers struggled on Tuesday, falling to the Houston Christian Huskies by final score of 12-2.
Beau Beaty (2-9) started and took the loss on the mound for Prairie View A&M (8-34).
In the batter's box, the Panthers were paced by Ryland Duson, who went 1-for-4 on the day with a home run and two RBIs. Zacarias Salinas put together a noteworthy day at the dish as well, going 2-for-4 with a double.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers got on the board immediately, starting their scoring with two runs in the bottom of the first inning. Prairie View A&M plated two runs when Duson left the yard with Tyvon Moore aboard. The Panthers were unable to hold the lead, as Houston Christian scored 12 times over the remaining eight innings to grab the 12-2 win.
