The Prairie View A&M Panthers continued to excel in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year, with several athletic programs earning outstanding spring semester and cumulative team GPAs.
Leading the way among men's programs, the Men's Cross Country Team recorded a 3.331 spring GPA and a 3.286 cumulative GPA, while the Men's Track Team posted a 3.164 spring GPA with a 3.234 cumulative GPA. The Men's Golf Team also demonstrated academic success with a 3.176 spring GPA and a 3.119 cumulative GPA.
Among women's programs, Women's Golf achieved one of the department's top marks with an impressive 3.797 spring GPA and a 3.688 cumulative GPA. Women's Bowling continued its academic excellence with a 3.595 spring GPA and a 3.456 cumulative GPA, while Women's Softball earned a 3.567 spring GPA and a 3.479 cumulative GPA.
Additional strong performances included Women's Volleyball with a 3.520 spring GPA and a 3.458 cumulative GPA, Women's Tennis with a 3.167 spring GPA and a 3.400 cumulative GPA, and Women's Cross Country posting a 3.391 spring GPA with a 3.329 cumulative GPA.
Overall, Prairie View A&M student-athletes earned a 3.202 spring GPA and a 3.203 cumulative GPA, continuing the department's commitment to excellence both academically and athletically.
"These numbers reflect the dedication, discipline, and hard work our student-athletes continue to display in the classroom," said Director of Athletics Anton Goff. "We are proud of their commitment to academic achievement while competing at a high level."
