Prairie View A&M will continue its early-season road stretch Thursday, August 27, when the Panthers face North Dakota State at Dacotah Field in Fargo, North Dakota. The first meeting between the programs is scheduled for 6 PM.
The Panthers enter their fourth match of the season with an 0-3 record after spending the past two weeks on the road. Thursday's contest is one of several conference tests Prairie View A&M will play before beginning conference competition in October.
Nenah Jackson will be a central figure after recently earning SWAC Goalkeeper of the Week honors. She finished last week with 10 combined saves against Texas A&M - Corpus Christi and UTRGV, providing a steady presence behind the Panthers' defense. Her defense and work in goal will be important as Prairie View A&M tries to limit clean scoring chances.
At the other end, Maya Myles and Analisse Cheema lead Prairie View A&M with three shots and two shots on goal apiece. Their ability to turn possession into quality attempts will be one of the Panthers' primary attacking storylines. With no previous match up to draw from, Prairie View A&M's challenge will be to settle into the game quickly, stay compact defensively and create enough opportunities to pressure North Dakota State throughout the evening.
The match against North Dakota State will be also be available for live stream and live stats for Panther fans at home.
