PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas — The Prairie View A&M University men's and women's cross country teams are set for an exciting morning on home turf as they host the Clifton Gilliard XC Invite tomorrow.

The meet will take place at the Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Ranch, providing the Panthers with a true home-course advantage. Action will get underway early with the men's race kicking things off at 8:30 AM, followed by the women's race at 9:10 AM.

This meet comes in the middle of the season, after both squads teams competed in 2 meets each so far, and have logged weeks of training, building up their endurance and fine-tuning their race strategy for this crucial stretch of the season. Competing in front of a supportive local crowd offers a welcome boost as the Panthers look to measure their progress against a competitive field.

With home-course support behind them, both squads are primed to put on a strong showing. Fans, students, and supporters are encouraged to head out to the Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Ranch tomorrow morning to cheer on the Panthers.
