PRAIRIE VIEW, TX — The Prairie View A&M men's cross country team competed on their home course, hosting the annual Clifton Gilliard XC Invite.

Taking on the challenging 8K distance in front of the home crowd, the Panthers put together an exceptional team effort highlighted by a dominant individual victory.

Thierry Garcon led the entire field and claimed first place overall, breaking the tape with a magnificent time of 25:47.5. Korey Griffith secured 9th place overall by crossing the finish line in 27:10.5.

Lamar Smith finished in 27:48.8, followed closely by Eli Jacobs with a time of 28:35.5. Messiyah Forte powered through the 8K course in 28:50.5, and Jaiden Johnson rounded out the varsity scoring effort with a performance of 33:18.10.
