LUBBOCK, Texas - Women's golf recently completed two days at the Red Raider Invitational. The tournament consisted of three round over two days.
Fernanda Rendon led Prairie View A&M with a 19-over-par finish and posted the team's lowest score in the two-day tournament, finishing three strokes ahead of teammate Madison Williams.
Williams completed the event at 22 over, giving Prairie View A&M two golfers within three strokes of each other at the top of its lineup. Rendon and Williams created separation from the rest of the Panthers' finishers, with both ending the tournament below 25 over.
Nevaeh Figueroa recorded Prairie View A&M's third-lowest total at 30 over. Figueroa finished eight strokes behind Williams and 11 behind Rendon, while holding a five-stroke advantage over the Panthers' next finisher.
Ariell Belser followed at 35 over, and Juliann Manalili rounded out Prairie View A&M's five listed individual scores at 47 over. The Panthers' scores ranged from Rendon's team-leading 19 over to Manalili's 47 over, a 28-stroke spread across the lineup.
