Biography

High School: Reyes, a Spring, Texas native bowled with the Klein Oak HS for four years.  The future Lady Panther plans on majoring in criminal justice with a concentration in juvenile justice.  She has been a member of several organizations such as Bilando Club (2015-2016), Criminal Justice Club (2016-2017), Color Guard (2017-2018), and the Bowling Team/Club (2018).  Reyes has a 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and is also involved in Dance Concert Performance(s) (2014-2018).
 
Away from her high school bowling events, Reyes was bowled in the CFYO6 Youth SSS Solo (Sport shot league)-  Averaging 140 thru the 2016-17 season and the TSSY1 Carol Olson Youth Scholarship League, where she averaged 157.  Reyes, also bowled in the TSY01 Carol Olson Youth Scholarship League, TLY2 GHYTL Scratch, GHCPA, and CFY06 Youth "SSS" Solo – Sport League.  In 2017 she participated in the GHCPA Marla Bennett Memorial Generation Gap Tournament placing 2nd in the division 1- Team.  At the GH 2017 Youth City Tournament Reyes placed 4th in Division 2 singles, 5th in Division 2 – all events and 6th Place in Division 2 – doubles.  As a South West Junior Gold Qualifier, she placed 3rd.
 
During the 2016-17 season Reyes competed in the TLY2 GHYTL Scratch, TSY01 Carol Olson Youth Scholarship League, TSSY1 COYSL Summer, CFY06 Youth Solo.  In 2016 she placed 1st place in division 2 singles, and 3rd place in division 2- all events during the GHUSBC City Tournament.  In the same year she placed 2nd in the division 2-teams of the GHCPA Marla Bennett Memorial Generation Gap Tournament.  In the 2015-16 season Reyes competed in the DBY04 Elites, TLY2 GHHTL Scratch and the 2015 GHCPA Marla Bennett Memorial Generation Gap Tournament placing 2nd  in Division 2- Teams.  She also competed in the DBSY1 Jr Gold Challenge.  During the 2014 – 2015 season she participated with the DBYO4 Elites and was on the Tomball Youth League.

2021 Prairie View A&M program has placed six outstanding scholar-athletes on the National Tenpin Coaches Association's (NTCA) All-Academic Team, as well as making the grade as one of the top ten academic programs in the nation.The team honors individual bowlers who have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.4 or greater during the 2020-21 academic year. Added to this years' achievement are freshman Ashlyn Okazaki, junior Ivelisse Reyes and senior Sonja Ortiz each earning recognition from the NTCA. The Lady Panthers were just as impressive off the lanes as they were on it, posting a team GPA of 3.693 while winning this past season's SWAC regular season championship for a third time, as well as a SWAC Championship
