PVAMU:  Starts his second season as a focal point in the team’s offensive unit…played offense for the first time since high school last season and ranked third on the team in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown receptions…prior to the 2010 campaign in which he saw limited action on special teams, Cooper hadn’t played since 2008 due to a season-ending neck injury…tallied 185 receiving yards in the team’s spring game and provides a deep threat downfield.

2011:  Caught 23 receptions for 244 yards and three touchdowns…averaged 10.6 yards per reception…caught his first career receptions (3) and first collegiate touchdown versus Bethune-Cookman at the 2011 MEAC/SWAC Challenge in Orlando, Fla…scored his second touchdown of the season on a 28-yard reception at Texas Southern on Sept. 10…caught four receptions for 69 yards, including a season-high long of 36 yards, at the State Fair Classic versus Grambling State on Oct. 2…finished with a season-high seven receptions for 66 yards at Alabama State on Oct. 15…had a pair of receptions in final two games of the year…scored a late touchdown versus Alabama A&M for his third touchdown reception of the season.

2010:  Retuned to the field after a two-year hiatus...played defensive back and finished with eight tackles…recorded his first career tackle at Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Oct. 7…had a tackle versus Southern and two tackles at Jackson State…concluded the year with a season-high three tackles at Alabama A&M.

2009:  Did Not Play
