Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Ariana Dock is a Senior Kinesiology major from Atlanta, Georgia, and a graduate of North Atlanta High School. She chose Prairie View A&M University for its vibrant environment, rich culture, and strong sense of community, seeking a supportive atmosphere where she could grow both personally and academically. Her passion for sports medicine was sparked by watching her brother go through physical therapy following RSV, which inspired her to become a Student Athletic Trainer Aide so she could guide athletes through injury recovery while remaining close to the games she loves.

Ariana considers communication, time management, and adaptability to be the essential skills every athletic trainer aide must possess. Working primarily with the football team, her most memorable moment on staff was traveling with the squad to attend the Cricket Celebration Bowl. Looking ahead five years, she aims to be working as a sports medicine professional with an ultimate dream job of serving as an Athletic Trainer for a professional football team. Outside of academics and athletic training, Ariana enjoys cooking, eating smothered chicken and cornbread, listening to Latto, and watching her favorite movie, Preacher's Kid. Her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because of the special quality time she spends cooking in the kitchen with her Nana.
