2026-27 Athletic Training Student Aides Roster
Biography
Brylee King is a Senior Kinesiology major from Lake Charles, Louisiana, and a graduate of Hutto High School. Driven by a lifelong dream to attend an HBCU, Brylee chose Prairie View A&M University after a campus tour that instantly stood out with its homey feel, vibrant energy, and welcoming vibe. Curiosity about the medical field—sparked after breaking her arm and learning in-depth about injury recovery—inspired her to become a Student Athletic Trainer Aide, a passion she has pursued ever since.
Brylee considers mastering vital signs and understanding the proper use of treatment modalities to be the most critical skills for an athletic trainer aide. She found working with Men's Basketball to be her most exciting assignment, pointing to their trip to Atlanta, winning the SWAC Championship, earning her first PVAMU championship ring, and traveling to March Madness as her most memorable experiences on staff. Looking ahead five years, Brylee aims to work professionally in sports medicine, with an ultimate dream job of becoming an NFL Athletic Trainer. Outside of her studies and athletic training duties, she enjoys doing hair, eating Cajun pasta, listening to Michael Jackson, and watching her favorite movie, Love & Basketball. Her favorite holiday is Christmas for its cozy, family-centered feel.
