Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Jasmine Williams is a Senior Human Nutrition & Food major from Carencro, Louisiana, and a graduate of University View Academy. She chose Prairie View A&M University because it immediately felt like home upon her arrival. Driven by a passion for sports medicine and health, Jasmine became a Student Athletic Trainer Aide to gain valuable hands-on experience helping student-athletes maintain health, recover from injuries, and optimize their athletic performance.

Believing that dependability and a strong work ethic are the most crucial qualities for an athletic trainer aide, Jasmine primarily works with the football team, though her favorite memory on staff was when the softball team warmly invited her to join in during practice. Looking ahead five years, she plans to earn a master's degree and build a career in professional sports, with an ultimate dream job of working as a Sports Nutritionist for an NFL team. Outside of academics and sports medicine, Jasmine enjoys painting, singing, eating rice and gravy, and watching her favorite movie, Beyond the Lights, or entertainer Michael B. Jordan. Her favorite holiday is Christmas.
