Corie Lockette is a left-handed batter and right-handed thrower, playing first base and wearing #20 on the field. He is a redshirt freshman majoring in Mass Communication at Prairie View A&M University. Originally from North Richland Hills, Texas, Corie graduated from Birdville High School.

His go-to walk-up song is Right Above It by Lil Wayne, and his favorite all-time movie is Stomp the Yard. Corie enjoys eating tacos and burgers, with Thanksgiving being his favorite holiday because it's when he can gather with his entire family. Outside of baseball, he likes to bowl and hang out with his brothers. His favorite MLB team is the Houston Astros, as he was born in Houston.

Corie believes that staying positive and keeping level-headed are the greatest challenges for athletes today. His most memorable moment in sports was hitting his first home run on his birthday. In five years, Corie hopes to complete his master's degree and win a SWAC championship. His dream job is to either become an MLB player or a sports analyst. Corie chose Prairie View A&M because it was the only school to give him a chance, and he feels a sense of duty to give back by bringing a championship to the school.
