Kamar "KD" Dove is a right-handed pitcher (RHP) for Prairie View A&M University, wearing jersey number 6. He is a freshman majoring in Kinesiology and hails from New Caney, Texas. Kamar previously played at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
His go-to walk-up song is "Lifestyle" by Rich Homie Quan, and his favorite movie is Spider-Man 3. He loves foods like beef and broccoli, and watermelon. Easter is his favorite holiday, as it celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Kamar enjoys hobbies such as hunting, video games, and traveling the world. He's a fan of the Atlanta Braves, drawn to the team because of watching clips of their 1998 lineup featuring Chipper Jones and Greg Maddux.
One of Kamar’s most memorable moments came during his junior year of high school when he led his team to a 10-1 record, earning their first playoff berth in school history since Adam Dunn's time at New Caney High School.
Looking ahead, Kamar hopes to win a SWAC Championship and eventually reach his dream job in Major League Baseball (MLB). He chose Prairie View A&M because of the school’s rich cultural tradition, tight-knit community, and strong alumni support.
