Lee Allen Jr., also known as “LA7,” is a right-handed second baseman and middle infielder for the Prairie View A&M University baseball team, wearing jersey number 7. A senior majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Management, Lee hails from Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated from Lincoln College Prep High School.
Off the field, Lee enjoys rollerskating and is a fan of seafood. His favorite movie series is Rush Hour 1, 2, and 3, and his go-to walk-up song is “Wipe Me Down” by Trill Family ft. Boosie. Christmas is his favorite holiday, as he loves the joy of giving gifts to his loved ones. Lee is also a proud fan of the Kansas City Royals, his hometown MLB team, believing there’s no better city than Kansas City.
Lee’s most memorable moment in baseball came when he helped his team win the 2024 Cactus Jack Classic and the Andre Dawson Classic back-to-back. Looking ahead, Lee hopes to be an integral member of a professional sports team’s business or team operations, with the long-term goal of owning a professional sports organization. He chose Prairie View A&M for its family-like atmosphere, which offered him an opportunity that he couldn’t pass up. Lee believes that one of the biggest challenges for athletes today is developing the mental side of the game, and he is focused on honing that aspect of his performance as he moves forward in his career.
