Marshal Jonas is a right-handed first baseman for the Prairie View A&M University baseball team, wearing jersey number 26. A senior majoring in Agriculture, Marshal is originally from Buffalo, Texas, and previously played at Western Texas College.

A lifelong fan of the Texas Rangers, Marshal grew up watching the team, which is his favorite MLB franchise. His most memorable moment in baseball came when he helped his team win the Cactus Jack Classic. Looking ahead, Marshal hopes to spend the next five years helping others learn and developing as a leader in the sports world. His dream job is to become an MLB manager. Marshal chose Prairie View A&M because of Coach Riggins and the opportunity to be part of a program that values growth and success both on and off the field.
Marshal believes that one of the biggest challenges athletes face today is the impact of social media, and he is focused on staying true to himself while navigating this modern challenge.
