Trenton "Trent" Bush is a right-handed third baseman for the Prairie View A&M University baseball team, wearing jersey number 11. A senior majoring in Business Management, Trent hails from Longview, Texas, and previously played at Grayson College.
Off the field, Trent enjoys fishing and hunting. His favorite food is fried fish, and his go-to walk-up song is “Solo” by Future. Old Yeller is his favorite movie, and Christmas is his favorite holiday, as it’s a time he cherishes being around family. Trent is a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, appreciating the team’s diversity and the wide range of talent they showcase.
One of Trent's most memorable moments in his baseball career was hitting a grand slam against Southern. Looking ahead, he hopes to still be playing baseball five years from now, but if not, he aims to use his Business Management degree to work in sports facility management, mass production companies, or even road management for artists. His dream job is to become a professional baseball player.
Trent chose Prairie View A&M because it was the best option available to him. He trusted both the coaching staff’s knowledge of the game and the university’s academic programs, which made the decision to join the program an easy one. Trent recognizes that one of the biggest challenges for athletes today is managing their time between class, baseball, and other responsibilities, but he continues to strive for balance and success.
