Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Michael Vanhook is a Kinesiology major from Richmond, California, who chose Prairie View A&M University to seek new opportunities and build a bright future for himself. Driven and goal-oriented, Michael aims to gain valuable hands-on experience behind the camera, expanding his skills in sports video production and strengthening his professional resume while serving the program.

A major football enthusiast whose favorite sport to cover is football, Michael is especially excited for the 2026 season to jump into filming games. His ultimate dream coverage event is the Super Bowl, and if he could instantly master any skill, it would be calling a football offense. A dedicated fan of the Seattle Seahawks and former running back Marshawn Lynch, his favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because of its focus on giving back. In his downtime, he enjoys gaming, watching his all-time favorite movie The Karate Kid, and snacking on Snickers.
