Tommie Moore

Tommie Moore serves as the Director of Football Performance, overseeing all aspects of physical preparation, performance development, and long-term athlete readiness for the football program. 

A graduate of South Carolina State University and a former walk-on football student-athlete from 2013–2016, Moore brings extensive Division I experience across multiple conferences, having held leadership roles at North Carolina A&T State University, Coastal Carolina University, Norfolk State University, and Eastern New Mexico University. His background includes directing football performance operations, managing multi-sport departments, and supervising strength staff, interns, and student assistants.

Moore has been part of multiple conference championship programs, including conference championships at Middle Georgia State University and Norfolk State University in women’s basketball. He has also aided in the development of athletes who have gone on to compete professionally in the NFL, CFL, and overseas basketball leagues during his stops at The University of Florida, Kentucky, Texas, and Delta State University. While contributing to their long-term athletic preparation and durability.

Known for his data-driven and athlete-centered approach, Moore integrates performance technologies such as GPS tracking, force plate analysis, and athlete management systems to guide training decisions and manage workload. He collaborates closely with coaches, sports medicine, and administration to support a holistic high-performance model.

Moore is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and is committed to developing disciplined, accountable student-athletes prepared for success on and off the field.
