Biography

Jyzaiah Rockwell is a junior wide receiver from McKinney, Texas. He graduated from Gilmer High School and is majoring in Finance at Prairie View A&M.

His favorite entertainer is Mike Epps, and his favorite movie is Friday. Jyzaiah enjoys sushi and considers Christmas his favorite holiday.

In his free time, he likes making clothes. On game days, his ritual includes listening to Future and gossip music to get in the zone.

Jyzaiah believes one of the greatest challenges athletes face today is maintaining a steady mindset. One of his most memorable moments was scoring a game-winning touchdown during his redshirt freshman year at Sam Houston.

Looking ahead five years, Jyzaiah aims to record 1,300 receiving yards in a season. His dream job is to become a successful entrepreneur with multiple businesses.

He chose Prairie View A&M because of the coaches.
