Timothy "Deuce" Barrington, a redshirt freshman quarterback from Lafayette, Louisiana, is majoring in Kinesiology. He previously attended Fulshear High School.

His favorite food is gumbo, and he looks forward to Christmas, his favorite holiday, primarily because of the gifts. In his spare time, Timothy indulges in playing video games, which he finds relaxing and enjoyable.
On game days, Timothy has a unique ritual of walking around the field before the game to mentally prepare. He believes that taking care of your body is one of the biggest challenges athletes face today, as it is crucial for sustained performance and health.
A standout moment in Timothy’s sports career so far was scoring six touchdowns against his high school rival, an achievement he cherishes. This experience highlighted his skill and competitive spirit, marking a significant milestone in his athletic journey.
Looking ahead, Timothy aims to earn his degree and dreams of becoming an NFL coach. He chose Prairie View A&M because of the vibrant culture and the sense of belonging he felt, making it the perfect place to pursue his academic and athletic goals.
