Jackson Majors joined the PVAMU Men’s Basketball program in June 2019 as a Graduate Assistant.
A native of Memphis, Tenn., Majors spent his undergraduate collegiate career assisting the University of Memphis Tigers’ basketball team prior to his arrival at The Hill. He held a litany of roles, aiding the team and coaching staff during practices as manager, one-on-one training with student-athletes, and arena prep for practice sessions.
Majors also coached Memphis’ Hoop City club team, an opportunity that allowed him to demonstrate and impart his knowledge of the game’s fundamentals into aspiring youth in helping them grow their ability within the realm of play.
Majors earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise, Sport and Movement Sciences from Memphis in May 2019.
