Jonathan Isaiah Nash is a guard from Katy, Texas, currently in his senior year majoring in Management Information Systems. He graduated from Tompkins High School.

Jonathan's favorite NBA player is Russell Westbrook, whose dynamic play with the OKC Thunder has left a lasting impression on him. In terms of movies, Jonathan's all-time favorite is "Love and Basketball," reflecting his passion for the sport and its portrayal on screen. His culinary favorites include pizza and seafood, while he treasures Christmas for the opportunity it provides to gather with his family and enjoy quality time together.

Outside of basketball, Jonathan enjoys video games, working out, and watching Netflix. Being part of a team means a lot to him; he values the collective effort required to achieve goals that are beyond the reach of any individual alone. He acknowledges that today’s athletes face significant challenges, including managing their time effectively, maintaining mental health, and balancing their lives with the demands of sports.

One of his most memorable moments in sports was the opportunity to play at the highest collegiate level, a milestone that underscores his dedication and hard work. Looking ahead, Jonathan aims to achieve personal and team success in his career, with a dream of playing in the NBA. His choice to attend Prairie View A&M was influenced by its status as an HBCU and its proximity to home, making it a fitting place to continue his journey.
