Solomon Oraegbu is a graduate student majoring in Business Administration, originally from Chicago, Illinois. He previously played at Emporia State and now contributes his skills as a shooting guard at Prairie View A&M.

Solomon’s favorite NBA player is Kyrie Irving, whom he admires for his exceptional skill on the court. His favorite all-time movie is "Inception," reflecting his appreciation for complex and thought-provoking narratives. When it comes to food, he enjoys Cajun pasta, and he looks forward to Thanksgiving for its combination of family and delicious meals.

Outside of basketball, Solomon finds pleasure in listening to music and playing chess. To him, being part of a team means working collaboratively with like-minded individuals toward a common goal. He identifies the mental aspects of sports, including staying positive and motivated, as some of the greatest challenges for athletes today.

One of Solomon’s most memorable moments in sports was scoring 38 points in a game against Lake Superior State. Looking ahead, he aspires to play professionally and eventually become a business owner. Solomon chose Prairie View A&M for its supportive coaches and the enriching HBCU culture, which align with his personal and professional goals.
