Biography
Ayden Turner is a sophomore from Houston, Texas, who competes in the 100m, 200m, and relay events. He has a personal best of 10.62 seconds in the 100m and has competed at the Junior Olympics, a highlight that stands out as one of his most memorable moments in track. Ayden’s speed first emerged on the football field, but with his mother’s encouragement, he transitioned that talent to the track, where his competitive spirit has continued to grow.
A Kinesiology major, Ayden credits his mother as his biggest inspiration, recognizing her support in every sport he’s pursued. He believes that confidence in one’s craft is one of the greatest challenges athletes face today, and he strives to maintain focus and belief in his abilities. Over the next five years, Ayden hopes to achieve personal records in all his events and earn a championship ring, reflecting both his dedication and his drive for success.
Off the track, Ayden enjoys drawing in his free time and watching the movie Spirit. Desi Banks is his favorite entertainer, and he enjoys Thanksgiving for the opportunity to reconnect with family. Known for his determination and passion, Ayden’s goals for the season include winning a championship, setting personal records, and advancing far in competitions, continuing to build a strong foundation for both his athletic and personal achievements.
