Biography
Devin Miller is a sophomore sprinter and high jumper from Dallas, Texas, competing in the high jump, 100m, and 200m. A graduate of Bishop Lynch Catholic School, he has earned multiple collegiate honors, including being named 2x Newcomer of the Week and Field Athlete of the Week. Miller enters the season with personal bests of 6’10” in the high jump, 10.6 in the 100m, and 21.6 in the 200m, with the goal of qualifying for nationals in the high jump.
Miller is majoring in Civil Engineering and was inspired to run track by his mother. One of his most memorable moments came when he set his personal record in the high jump at Texas Tech. He is driven by a desire to make his family proud and constantly push himself to be his best, while recognizing that social media can be one of the greatest challenges athletes face today.
Off the track, Miller enjoys playing video games and spending time with friends. He loves wings, burgers, and seafood boils, his favorite movie is Black Panther, and he lists Desi Banks as his favorite entertainer. He chose Prairie View A&M because of the family-like culture, top-tier facilities, and strong engineering program.
