Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Kejun Wilson is a distance runner from Eagle Lake, Texas, competing in the 3000m, 3000m steeplechase, 5000m, and 8000m for Prairie View A&M. Wilson enters his junior season with personal bests of 9:40 in the 3k, 10:25 in the steeplechase, 16:40 in the 5k, and 26:59 in the 8k. He aims to set major personal records across all events this year.

Wilson is majoring in Criminal Justice and is inspired by his parents, who first motivated him to pursue track and field. One of his most memorable moments in the sport was racing in New York with his team, and he continues to push himself by striving to reach his limits each time he competes. His long-term goals include earning all-conference honors, achieving significant PRs, and breaking the school record in the 3k steeplechase.

Outside of competition, Wilson enjoys running, listening to music, and playing guitar. His favorite movie is Guardians of the Galaxy, and he loves pasta and spending Thanksgiving with his family. He chose Prairie View A&M because it felt like the perfect fit and a place he could call home.
