Kylar Chayce Ward-Flowers is entering her first season as an assistant coaching softball at Prairie View A&M. She is an alum of the program, having played softball for the Lady Panthers from 2015-2018. 

During her time at PVAMU, she was a four-year starter and made significant contributions for her outstanding performance and earned All-tournament team. Ward-Flowers also played a crucial role in helping the Lady panthers secure the SWAC championship in 2018-2019 year and contributed to the NCAA World Regionals. To honor their hard work, the 2018-2019 team is soon to be inducted into the PVAMU Hall of Fame. 

Prior to attending PVAMU, Ward-Flowers, a native of San Antonio, Texas and a former student-athlete at Macarthur Highschool , where she graduated in the top half of her school and played varsity softball for four years and earned a spot in the 2014 TGCA All-Star game, showcasing her exceptional talent on the field.

Ward-Flowers received her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and is currently a 5th grade teacher at Hempstead Elementary school. She is furthering her education by pursuing a master's degree in physical education, while assisting the lady panthers' softball team, where she shares her knowledge and passion for the sport with aspiring athletes and coaches.
